Il Lugana Maiolo nasce da uve di Trebbiano di Lugana
e prende il suo nome dalla casa padronale Cascina
Maiolo, fondata nel 1710. Le uve di questo vino
nascono da viti di giovane e media età coltivate con
sistema di allevamento a Silvoz e Guyot e con una
produzione media stagionale per ettaro di circa 100
ql. La natura calcarea, con argilla stratificata, risalente
all’era post-glaciale, unita alla raccolta manuale,
la spremitura soffice, la fermentazione controllata,
conferisce a questo Lugana caratteristiche peculiari
come il colore paglierino con riflessi verdognoli, il
profumo delicato e il sapore sapido.

experimentation: Il ROCCHETTO. A special wine which, as he himself describes: «is a complex single-variety wine,
full-bodied, with an intense ruby red color and an aroma of wild blackberry and spices».

If the wisdom was a sparkling wine, it would be a Lessini Durello “Dosaggio Zero”: the Pas Dosè Classic Method produced with the grapes of the Lessini Mountains.
Its complex flavour remembers dried fruit and acacia’s honey, and also hints of toasted bread and yeast. The great structure tell the long ageing in bottle in the quarries of the winery.
In these years the rhythm of the seasons runs incessantly, the wisdom of time increase and the balance of this sparkling wine grow up on acidity and minerality with a long finish.

This wine is the result of a friendly challenge. Chatting with family friend Roberto over a glass of White
Creaman, the conversation turned to memories of a
sparkling rose wine that Roberto’s father used to make
for private consumption. Natalino, who had always
wanted to make a traditional method rose wine from
the local variety Corvinone,took up the challenge and
Creaman Rosè is the result.
“La Corte del Pozzo”...
The name “Corte del Pozzo” expresses the link with
the inhabitants of the area who drew water from our
well back in the 1900s.

The hills around Trento on morainal
soils at altitudes of between 300 and
450 m a.s.l., with a continental/Alpine
climate. Trentino is one of the few
areas in Italy where the cultivation of
this variety has had good development
in dry and well-ventilated hilly zones.

VINIFICATION
Manual harvesting by small crates during last week of September. Destemming,
cold skin maceration in a closed press for 12/18 hours and soft pressing in nitrogen
saturation at low temperature. Free-run juice decanting before the fermentation.
After the stainless steel fermentation, the noble lees are preserved for 15 months
by performing weekly bâtonnage.
