Il nome di questo vino, fragrante ed estremamente gustoso, riporta alla mente Don Calogero Sedàra, il personaggio ricco e borghese tra i protagonisti del romanzo Il Gattopardo di Giuseppe Tomasi di Lampedusa, la cui figlia Angelica andrà in sposa a Tancredi
Rosso rubino luminoso, rivela un impianto olfattivo intenso e complesso di frutta rossa matura, note vegetali e speziate avvolte da sfumature minerali e salmastre. Morbido ed avvolgente al palato, ha tannini setosi e persistenza su ricordi di tostatura.

Con primi piatti al ragù di carne o al forno, con capretto arrosto e con carni alla brace ma anche con del Ragusano DOP stagionato.
