ALPONE Durello Blu, Charmat method, likes to play: it has a full flavor, slightly sour, which distinguishes itself for the game it begins with salivation, by stimulating it with a slight bitter aftertaste. The hints of this sparkling wine have in fact a strong citric vein. The taste is dry and slightly fruity. The fragrances evoke wildflowers and white pulp fruit. Giannitessari is the winery run by Gianni Tessari and his family which is located in Roncà, in the heart of Valle d’Alpone, in the province of Verona.
It produces great Soave wines, in the Soave area, expression of volcanic soils; red wines of elegant balance from the clayey soils of the Berici hills area and Lessini Durello sparkling wines from the Lessini Mountains area, where minerality and finesse dominate.
For Gianni Tessari, who since the 1980’s has signed successful wines, recognized with awards at international level, it is the beginning of a new challenge. That of expressing his own stature as a winemaker through the comparison with three different and complementary terroirs.

Its processing consists in fact in the utmost knowledge of the components, perfectly organized in a game of harmonies and proportions between acidity, softness and saltiness. The same balanced dialogue which describes the beauty of a sculpture which becomes a work of art.

AROMA
White flowers of acacia, jasmine, bouquet of citrus such as pineapple, grapefruit and orange, apple, pear and mango and a light note of bananas.

Il vigneto si trova a circa 450 m s.l.m. nella vallata d’Alpone, San Giovanni Ilarione, VR. La selezione delle uve avviene su un vigneto di un ettaro e mezzo con i vitigni Pinot Grigio e Garganega. L’età media dei vigneti è di quindici anni.
