We are proud to be the first Veneto’s winery enrolled in the PIWI International. Association that promote the collection and exchange of information between research institutes, grape breeders and refiners of grapes, wine gorwers and manufacturers of PIWI varieties, with the goal of spread the knowledge about them.

Giannitessari is the winery run by Gianni Tessari and his family which is located in Roncà, in the heart of Valle d’Alpone, in the province of Verona.
It produces great Soave wines, in the Soave area, expression of volcanic soils; red wines of elegant balance from the clayey soils of the Berici hills area and Lessini Durello sparkling wines from the Lessini Mountains area, where minerality and finesse dominate.
For Gianni Tessari, who since the 1980’s has signed successful wines, recognized with awards at international level, it is the beginning of a new challenge. That of expressing his own stature as a winemaker through the comparison with three different and complementary terroirs.
Looking at the tradition and with an always active research for innovation, Giannitessari winery wants to offer its customers quality products which aim to leave a mark.

ALPONE Durello Blu, Charmat method, likes to play: it has a full flavor, slightly sour, which distinguishes itself for the game it begins with salivation, by stimulating it with a slight bitter aftertaste. The hints of this sparkling wine have in fact a strong citric vein. The taste is dry and slightly fruity. The fragrances evoke wildflowers and white pulp fruit. It is lively wine, with a bright straw yellow color and fine grain long lasting perlage. A playful glamour.
AROMA
White flowers of acacia, jasmine, bouquet of citrus such as pineapple, grapefruit and orange, apple, pear and mango and a light note of bananas.

Questo vino è il frutto di un’attenta scelta dei migliori grappoli del vitigno Garganega, raccolti a mano nei propri vigneti in Monteforte d’Alpone (VR) terra del Soave. Dopo un breve periodo d’appassimento, fino ai primi di novembre, l’uva viene vinificata con passione da Stefano Posenato.
Attenta selezione di uve Vermentino di Sardegna Doc, sapientemente raccolte a mano e spumantizzate in autoclave (metodo Charmat); affinate 6 mesi sur lie.

Il vino che state bevendo è il frutto di una autentica passione del vignaiolo Stefano Posenato. E’ un vino ottenuto da “doppia maturazione ragionata” dell’uva Garganega, raccolta a mano verso la metà di novembre nel comune di Monteforte d’Alpone (foglio 6 mappale 170 e 184) nel cuore storico per la produzione del Soave Classico. La natura del terreno di origine vulcanica rende questo vino complesso e molto piacevole.
