Due Veneto Rosso IGT: every sculpture has a double soul. One hidden in the raw material, the other moulded by the hands of the sculptor. With precise gestures and finesse he extracts the perfect beauty concealed in the material. In the same way, only with equal accuracy and finesse, a wine like Due Veneto IGT can be achieved. A product made from Merlot and Cabernet Franc variety which expects attention and pursuit of detail.

The enologist’s job consists exactly in listening to the variety and the grapes answering the needs they express: in this case, a treatment which reproduces the technique of Ripasso.

The second fermentation – evoked by the name “Due” – corrects in fact any possible defect and leads to an excellent result.

Speaking of a company in Negrar di Valpolicella (Verona) and writing about aging wines, one might have expected a

story about Amarone. But no. Dr. Paolo Zardini has decided to present his wine, the result of years of research and

experimentation: Il ROCCHETTO. A special wine which, as he himself describes: «is a complex single-variety wine,

full-bodied, with an intense ruby ​​red color and an aroma of wild blackberry and spices».

Il vigneto si trova a circa 350 s.l.m. nella vallata storica della Valpolicella classica: Marano di Valpolicella. La selezione delle uve avviene su un vigneto di sette ettari con i vitigni storici: Corvina Veronese, Rondinella e Molinara. L’età media dei vigneti è di trent’ anni.

AROMA

White flowers of acacia, jasmine, bouquet of citrus such as pineapple, grapefruit and orange, apple, pear and mango and a light note of bananas.

Aromi in prevalenza erbacei e vegetali, spaziano dal peperone verde all’ortica, dalla foglia di pomodoro all’erba falciata

Profumo lievemente etereo con note di vaniglia, aromi di mora, violetta, prugna, amarena, mirtillo, ciliegia, rosa rossa, ciclamino, cannella, pepe nero, pepe rosa, cuoio e cioccolato

Bouquet intenso e caratteristico con una leggera nota moscata e di fiori di sambuco
