MONTI LESSINI
METODO CLASSICO
Straw yellow wine with golden highlights. Brilliant, with a fine, lively, and persistent perlage. The nose reveals a mineral and citrus character, with aromas of grapefruit, unripe pineapple, white peach, and orange blossom. Delicate notes of sea salt and a spicy hint of ginger follow. On the palate, the bubbles are firm yet caressing: the fresh attack offers an immediate sensation of cleanliness, while the finish is dominated by a savory character that amplifies the citrus and mineral notes. A Metodo Classico of great finesse, reflecting the complexity of the volcanic-basaltic soils and the meticulous care in the vineyard and cellar. The harvest, manual and selective, takes place in late September in the Durella vineyards located between 200 and 500 meters above sea level, on volcanic-basaltic soils managed using integrated pest management. The vines, trained half using the Guyot system and half using old Veronese pergolas, offer low yields and highly concentrated grapes. After destemming and gentle pressing, the must ferments at 15°C and ages on the fine lees with regular bâtonnage. This is followed by secondary fermentation in the bottle and a long maturation on the lees for at least 18 months, before manual riddling and disgorgement.
Lessini Durello Reserve 36 months is a Champagne Method Sparkling Wine that grows at 500 meters ASL, on Mount Calvarina, in the province of Verona.
It is produced with 85% Durella grape and a small percentage of Pinot Blanc that gives it roundness.
Thanks to the volcanic soils rich in basaltic rocks, in which the grapes are raised, our Lessini Durello has clear saline and mineral notes of flint.
A fine, very persistent perlage, a complex bouquet on the nose and a pleasantly dry and fresh sip that will tickle your palate.

After aging in the underground cellars for three years, the Lessini Durello “Brut”, produced with Traditional Method, learns perseverance. The ability of being stable, continuous. Persistence. In the same way this sparkling wine is long lasting iwhich can be appreciated in the mouth for a certain creaminess of the bubbles, parallel to a mineral quality which evokes rock dust. These have medium length and “push”.
It releases at the end aromas with reminiscences of citrus and pineapple. The color is bright yellow, its perlage is thick and continuous. Complex aroma, of white wildflowers and white pulp fruit with a sweet trace of almonds and toasted bread.
