The Chianti Classico Gran Selezione DOCG Il Solatio from Castello di Albola is a pure Sangiovese produced with grapes from select vineyards in Radda in Chianti. Traditional vinification involves a three-week maceration, while the wine is aged in oak barrels for 14 months, followed by an extended period in the bottle.

Blend: 100% Sangiovese.

Aging: 14 months in Allier oak barrels, 18 months in the bottle.

Tasting Notes: Intense ruby ​​color, the nose reveals aromas of ripe red fruits, sweet spices, and balsamic notes. The palate is rich and structured, with soft tannins and a lingering finish.
