Description
LA GROLETTA: THE RIPASSO THAT WINDS ON
The Valpolicella Ripasso La Groletta Corte Giara Allegrini is a traditional Venetian wine, made from Corvina and Rondinella grapes grown in the vineyards of the Corte Giara estate. This Ripasso della Valpolicella is the result of a double fermentation, the second on the dried skins of Amarone, which gives it unique characteristics.
Blend: 70% Corvina, 30% Rondinella.
Aging: 11 months in Slavonian oak barrels.
Tasting Notes: Intense ruby red color. The nose reveals aromas of ripe red fruit, spices, and balsamic notes. The palate is warm and enveloping, with soft tannins and a lingering finish.
Pairings: Try it with stews, braised meats, and polenta; it's perfect with a slice of beef with porcini mushrooms.
Why choose it: For those who love full-bodied and structured wines, but don't want to give up freshness and drinkability
The Allegrini family has played a leading role in the history of Fumane and Valpolicella Classica since the sixteenth century and has handed down the culture of the vine and wine ever since. The corporate legacy of Giovanni Allegrini, the driving force behind the rebirth of the Valpolicella area, passed into the hands of the new generations: his son and daughter, Franco and Marilisa, together with his niece Silvia, the daughter of his late son, Walter
